Accommodation
One group per day (maximum capacity of 5 people) with self-served breakfast
Basic fee: From 66,000 yenFee per person: 8,800 yen
In case of 2 people staying: Basic fee 66,000 yen + 17,600 yen = Total 83,600 yen (41,800 yen per person)
In case of 5 people staying: Basic fee 66,000 yen + 44,000 yen = Total 110,000 yen (22,000 yen per person)
The basic fee is subject to change each season.
Reservations can be made up to three months in advance, starting from a one-night stay. Please make your reservation from the RESERVATION page on our website. In principle, we take reservations online only, but we may be able to take reservations by phone if there are special circumstances.
Check-in: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Check-out: by 10:00 AM *For details, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions of Accommodation.
If you cancel, you must pay the following percentage of the reserved accommodation fee.
10 to 7 days prior to the check-in date: 30%
6 to 3 days prior to the check-in date: 50%
2 days or 1 day prior to the check-in date: 80%
On the day of arrival/non-arrival: 100% *For details, please refer to the General Terms and Conditions of Accommodation.
We do not have an age restriction for children staying at Kodomari Fuji. Be especially careful with the steps and when using the fireplace. Please have your children use our wooden dishes since many of our dishes are handcrafted by artists.

Rates for children
Before elementary school: free of charge
Elementary school: 3,300 yen per child
Junior high school: 5,500 yen per child *A separate basic fee will be charged. *Minors are not allowed to stay at Kodomari Fuji alone.
We can only provide bedding for up to 5 people. Children younger than elementary school age are not included in the number of guests; if such a child requires separate bedding, the child will be included in the maximum number of 5 people and will be charged 3,300 yen. Up to one child under elementary school age may sleep with one adult.
Kodomari Fuji is not specifically designed to accommodate people using a wheelchair. Some rooms have many steps. Please contact us in advance if you have any concerns about accommodation.
We do not allow pets.
We do not provide transportation. If you come by train, it takes about 10 minutes by taxi from Kobuchizawa Station.
There are parking spaces for two cars at the facility. Please let us know in advance if you are coming with more than two cars or a particularly large car. Cars over 2,200 mm in height will require guidance when parking. Although it does not snow heavily in this area, snow tires are recommended in winter. If you have any concerns, please contact us in advance about the road conditions.
We do not change the bedding for the first three nights. Please let us know in advance if you need the sheets to be changed before the third night. Our staff will clean the room every third day (time to be discussed). For a long consecutive stay, we offer a 10% discount off the accommodation fee from the third night.
Questions while staying
Please refrain from posting photos and videos taken inside Kodomari Fuji on social media and blogs. Photos taken outside of the building can be posted.
Free Wi-Fi is available. Please check the password on the information sheet inside Kodomari Fuji.
During the night, our staff do not stay at Kodomari Fuji. If you need to contact us in case of emergency, please call the phone number given on the information sheet. Kodomari Fuji is located in a quiet village. Please do not make loud noises at night.
Since Kodomari Fuji is located in a rural area, insects may come inside the building. Please use the insect repellant placed in the facility.
You can bring in food items that you have purchased and cook them in the kitchen. Please see “Cooking” on the Food page for details on kitchen equipment. Local snacks and refreshments are available in our Pantry Store.
Our Pantry Store offers a selection of craft beers and local alcoholic beverages. We do not have any restrictions on bringing alcoholic drinks, but please refrain from drinking so much that you generate a large amount of waste.
Smoking is not permitted in the building, including the deck. If you smoke, please bring your own portable ashtray and smoke outdoors. Please do not litter.
Please refrain from having a BBQ, using fireworks, or any other activities that involve the use of fire.
A fireplace is available during the winter; our staff will show you how to use it. Please be careful when using the fire. We are not responsible for any burns or injuries caused by handling firewood. The floor heating in the facility will keep you warm.
Other inquiries
For operational and security reasons, we do not provide tours for non-staying guests. In order to avoid any trouble, we do not allow anyone other than our guests to enter the premises. Please refrain from inviting people whose names are not on the guest list. Only guests who have made advance reservations are allowed to use the facility.

Please refrain from using Kodomari Fuji for any purpose other than lodging, such as making videos of the facility, using the facility for commercial purposes, or using the facility as a venue for workshops, etc.
